We love how our little girl is becoming so aware of her surroundings and able to interact with us. We can now play with her and she plays back and we are having so much fun. What a blessing to be able to witness her develop her cognitive and motor skills; she learns something new everyday and is growing by leaps and bounds. Her latest skill is clapping; she understands the word "clap" and responds fairly consistently to it. She likes it when we get excited and clap with her. I suspect that soon she will be clapping to her favorite songs. Again, we were able to capture it on video and have shared it below. Enjoy!
Daddy loves to play with his little girl and they often play their version of "catch". I'm not sure how, but Maya actually has pretty good aim even though you'd never believe that her crazy wind up would lead to a good throw. But more times than not, it goes towards daddy. Here's a quick clip of them playing together.

It is so cool when they start to interact. I love how you are really savouring every moment and enjoying Maya so much.
Are you doing baby signs with her?
proud of Maya's parents who are awesome
We haven't tried baby signs with her yet but I've been thinking about it since she seems to really understand things lately. Consistency will likely be my biggest obstacle.
