Caution near the Christmas tree!

We had a funny day today. It was another cold and snowy day so we decided to stay home and stay warm. Maya has been very interested in the Christmas tree so I put her beside the tree today to see what she would do. What ensued was so precious...
First she looked at the tree for a looooong time and then decided she wanted to reach out to see what it felt like.








Apparently it was not how she imagined it would feel.......









She then gave the tree a cautioning look and backed away. It was too cute.







I have a video of the experience too but can't get it to upload. I'll have to figure that out and try to post it later. Hope your day was as great as ours.

Too cute, Brandee. Maya is so adorable. It has been great having a couple of little visits with the two of you lately. Your house looks so beautiful with all the Christmas decorations. Enjoying your blog - it's addicting, isn't it?

I keep looking at your blog and I always chuckle at the pic of Maya looking sideways at the tree. It's like she's saying "Now tree, that was not nice. Don't poke me again!"
