oroughly enjoy this summer. We waited until after her birthday so she could enjoy them without all the chaos surrounding her parties. Auntie Lorrie, of course, went a little crazy and bought Maya her own little car. She just loves it and as you can tell, thinks that she is quite the big girl riding around in it!Maya also got her first bike from auntie Danielle, uncle Nolan and her cousin Linken! It's a tricycle that she can learn to ride with some help from us and then will eventually convert into a fully independantly driven trike. We decided to take her for a walk to the park in her new trike and take her on the swings for the first time. We were pleased to find that her adventurous spirit continues to be a strong part of her personality. She was ready and willing for the new experience of the park and loved the swing. We also walked around the park and played on the slide and a few other play structures. We had a blast and expect that we will be there many more times this summer.

What a lovely video, I felt like I was right there watching with her. Maya has such a delightful laugh and her waving reveals she trusts her mommy and daddy so much. Looks like she is all set for many more trips to the park. Glad that you take the camera with you.

The weather finally changed right when it was time for me to go home. I wish I could have stayed for at least one more day so I could have gone to the park with you. Maya just amazes me... she never, never lets a great adventure pass her by. I am sure she will be asking very soon to do more of all the things that she loves to do. I can't wait to take her to the park when I come again. Love Grandma

swings, slides, bikes, climbing toys... It is so much fun to watch adventurous kids play. Have a wonderful warm weather season full of lots of playing!
